Poor Bill
What makes Hillary do this to Bill? Oh well, Bill is not the president anymore and President Barack Obama is definitely the 'hotter' one. Fox News even named this clip 'Love Triangle, lol! Poor Bill.

A little dated now but I really want to put this up even when the kids said it was kind of embarrassing. This was on Dec. 26 during Gail's (Edna T.'s daughter) birthday party done in their house.
Jingle Bells from Ariel Magno on Vimeo.
A day after Missy's birthday, we went to our good friends' Paulo and Pauline's baby's 1st birthday. Gabriel is such an adorable little boy and Pauline's mom hosted the party at her downtown Miami condo's function room. We've been here more than a few times and the kids also enjoy going there especially since it has a view of Biscayne Bay. I didn't bring my camera so I just let Ophine do the 'shooting' with her p&s.

I inadvertently found this video and as a photographer, I was really able to relate with it. I'm not saying this will appeal to all people but IT CAN. I also learned that this was already "around' since 2001 and is being used in training, management and leadership seminars. I believe that most photographers have their own unique way of looking at this world and it doesn't really come from a technical vantage point because of our understanding of light and shadows, our tools of the trade, timing and so on and so forth but from within, that emotional connection that makes us excited to hold a camera and shoot anything that moves our spirit. Personally, I feel the connection when looking through a camera's viewfinder and realizing that as I press the shutter, I'm thinking, "it is working". I don't mean the shutter but the process of being successful in capturing the images. Believe me, it sometimes starts with "it's not working" and I have to dig dip inside for that creative juice to flow. We also have to be in the 'ZONE' just like athletes who perform at their very best.
After watching the video, it strengthened the thinking process but also gave me new insights, new paradigms on how to capture an image that at first you're not seeing but also on the 'possibilities' an image can have.
Here's a brief description of the video as found from the LINK.
In this 22-minute short film, "Celebrate What's Right With The World", Dewitt Jones (world-class photojournalist for the National Geographic) asks: "Do we choose to see possibilities? Do we really believe they're there?" He assures us that there is always more than one right answer. Celebrating what's right with the world helps us recognize the possibilities and find solutions for the challenges before us. This inspirational, best-selling film utilizes stunning photography and powerful dialogue to help viewers approach their lives with celebration, confidence, and grace. “As I celebrated what was right with the world, I began to build a vision of possibility, not scarcity. Possibility... always another right answer.” - Dewitt Jones

"American Women in Hollywood Film" to be exact. I just find this video amazing and whoever did the editing/sequencing has a keen eye and understands women's facial features very well. The transition as one face morphs into another gives the viewer a little suspense on whose face will be next. As a photographer, the portraits of these women interest me a lot and one can see the changes in style including lighting from portraits of long ago to the present.

Not much to post lately. The kids are enjoying their summer vacation, making a lot of mess, etc., etc. and I at the moment just bought a Seagate 500 gb Free Agent external HD, ugraded my laptop memory, waiting for my Partition Magic 8.0 and Acronis True Image Back-up software to be delivered. My laptop's IHD is just so full I keep removing files, my Lacie 250 gb external HD is just not enough and of course I need to back-up the back-up and still have to burn more DVDs as back-up for my photos especially for those I made this year. You just can't rely on hard drives alone. I also got (at last) the latest but not so new Photoshop CS3 software and once I cleaned up my IHD, that will be installed.
Anyway, here's a Donald Duck cartoon movie clip from obviously along time ago so if you have the time, relax and enjoy!
