CRCC Family Fun Night

Our church CRCC holds 'Family Fun Night' every year and it has become a well anticipated event not only for the church members (esp. the kids) but the whole community as well. It was done to have an alternative to how people celebrate Halloween. All the people who have become regulars to the event enjoys a special time with their kids without really spending a dime. Everything is free from the rides, fun activities, bounce houses, inflatable slides and even the food and drinks and most importantly the candies. Who wouldn't want to come here every year. Aside from having an excuse to 'hide' from the trick or treaters, the night has become a memorable event for people who just want to have fun in a safe and family-friendly atmosphere.
The church also puts up a prayer tent who just wants to talk and be prayed for. Although we were not able to really watch the shows, we have them there too.

CRCC Kids on the Rock Sports Weekend

The kids have been going to church every Saturday morning for the KOR Sports weekend activity. It's an ongoing every Saturday one hour event that teaches the kids how to play some team sports and at the same time make sure they get their exercise plus help them get to know more kids that attend the church. Every Saturday the attendance has been growing. Missy is still a little intimidated on how to play the kind of sports that they introduce and hopefully by next week she can get rid of the 'fear factor'. They just finished playing kickball and by next week they'll me moving on to playing soccer and will do it for 3 Saturdays again before they move to a new sports. They are now looking forward to it especially that they get free snacks afterwards. Last Saturday, an ice cream truck was there ready to give them their choice ice cream after playing.

CRCC Family Fun Night

Last Monday, we went to our church Christ the Rock Community Church for it's yearly Family Fun Night, an alternative to the usual Halloween Festivities. There were all kinds of bounce houses, inflatable slides of all sizes including a gigantic one, several rock climbing walls, a free concert and free food and drinks. The kids were getting a lot of treats and then the unthinkable happened. Missy had an accident in the bouncehouse where there was some sort of obstacle course inside. She was following her Kuya David over something when David slipped and accidentally kicked her on the face. She got a big shiner near the left eye. There were some roving paramedics and she was given an ice pack. I was not able to make more pictures after that except for some few photos below. Missy won't even allow me to take a picture of her 'shiner'. Good that their Storybook parade was done that day in school.
